Why does my car vibrate at 50mph and greater?

I have an '04 Grand Prix. Just today I noticed that at 50mph or greater it vibrates pretty badly. I just had my tires balanced and rotated about 2 weeks ago. I haven't hit anything, curbs, nothing like that. I live in Minnesota, could ice/snow buildup be a cause? All input welcome. Thanks.
