We are thinking of emigrating, can anyone tell us how much it would cost.?

We are 42 years old with grown up children, we have a 16 year old who would come with us. One of us is a qualified nurse and the other a driver, how easy or hard would it be to find work. What are the conditions in the hospitals like and are there many of them. We dont know where to look we are thinking of australia but are unsure if we would be any better off than in England (finincially). The other choice would be New Zealand can anyone help us please as much information regarding best places to live ect and the cost of living will be much appreciated thanks.
