Why do I always seem to get in these situations?
Earlier, me and my friend were riding bikes. We came to that huge hill in the park, so we got off and walked. For ages now, I've been telling everyone it's a law that bicycles have to ride on the right side of the road. I've stuck to that pretty well myself. But when we were walking our bikes up the hill (on the right side of the road,) there was a car coming up it extremely fast behind us. Since there was a ditch on our right, and there was two of us, we pushed our bikes to the left side of the road, since I thought it was legal to walk a bike on the left, and because I was afraid of the car hitting me. This car turned out to be a park ranger, and he stopped and got upset with us because we were on the wrong side of the road. All we were doing was moving over for the guy! We weren't riding, so we weren't breaking laws. Our suspicion that he was going on the rampage was confirmed when we saw him chewing out a bunch of pedestrians for some reason. Why does this junk always happen to me?
