All my children question?

How many people are starting to wonder if Adam killed his own brother? Did you see the episodes this week where Annie has flashbacks of that night and it shows Adam crying and Annie giving him his medicine. The medicine was causing him to not remember things and i am wondering since he knew people were at his house trying to kill him if he didn't grab a gun and go to shoot someone who he saw and maybe Annie came up behind him and it went off shooting Stuart instead. Annie told everyone she grabbed Emma and took her with Adam to the Attic but the flashback she had showed Emma no where to be found then suddenly she appeared at the door said she saw what happened and Annie told her not to say anything. So this is what i think went on.
