Why do 45% of Mexicans identify as whites?

When it is obvious we are not white. We are Indian. The Cherokee, Seminole, Apache, Cheyenne, Choctaw, Sioux, Powhatan, Iroquois, Creek, Chickasaw, Pueblo, Huron, etc ARE OUR BROTHERS!!! The Spaniard, Englishman, Frenchman, Dutchman, German, Russian, are OUR ENEMIES!!!! Our Ancient Gods told us to slay these invaders!!! Why do we identify as our enemies? Why do we, a mixed people, identify with the race that does NOT accept us? Why don't we identify with the race that DOES accept us?
