Why am I getting a runtime error with my new webcam?

I just got the Logitech Orbit AF and didnt hook it up to my usb yet and so i ut in the cd and it says c++ runtime error and so then i went to logitech's site to get version 11.5 which is the most up to date and still says c++ runtime error. How do i fix this??
