Using Sand in a Horse's Stall as Bedding--Would you Recommend it?

This would probably be a bad idea. First, it'd be a real pain to clean the stalls because the sand would be so heavy. You also run the risk of sand colic, which would be no fun. Better to use the sand in your arena. It drains well, especially if you layer it with clay underneath.
