Do women prefer a guy with a clean shaven face, a 3 day growth, or a beard?

I'm a reasonably good looking guy with dark brown hair and eyes, and lately I've been wearing a 3/4 beard about 10 days old (I shave my neck each day, as well as about 2 cms on the start of the hair on each cheek, so there is angled symmetry). I've noticed that because of the contrast between my skin and my hair that women seem to be paying more attention to me lately (even girls that are 17-18, and I am almost 32). I would have umed that women prefer guys with a clean shaven face?
